| Programs |
Our Program:
Merry Time Children’s Center provides a variety of programs, both full time and part time, beginning at six weeks of age. Our program is designed to introduce and expand on numerous areas of development where creativity and learning can be stimulated. The daily schedules in each classroom allow for large group, small group, and individual activities in order to build each child’s social and educational skills. Merry Time Children’s Center works to create an atmosphere for children to become excited about exploration and learning, while building friendships with their peers.
Infant Room:
Infants endure many changes during their first year of life and Merry Time Children’s Center is happy to be part of such a special time. Our goal is to provide each infant with a warm and secure environment that will encourage them to learn, grow, and be a happy child. With parent directed schedules, we work with the family to keep each child on their own personal agenda.
Lil’ Dreamer Room:
Children experience many transformations as a Lil’ Dreamer. In this classroom each child learns to become more stable on their feet, feed themselves, and grow to be more social. The Lil’ Dreamer classroom provides the type of environment that will encourage each child to become more independent.
Dreamer Room:
The Dreamer Room strives to stimulate and nurture the emotional, physical, and intellectual development of each toddler. Merry Time Children’s Center provides many hands on activities for each child to explore the world around them and become excited about learning. This classroom focuses on learning by repetition in songs, finger plays, and stories. The students also concentrate on learning their colors, counting, and shape and family member recognition.
Explorer Room:
In the Explorer Room children will drink from a cup and focus more on language, social sciences, and hygiene. Each child will become more independent and verbal while creating relationships with peers. In the Explorer classroom, students will begin to focus on potty-training. We know your child will enjoy this ever changing classroom!
Explorer II Room:
The Explorer II Room helps each child focus on expanding their vocabulary and recognizing letters and numbers by sight. They will also study weather, parts of the body and seasons. Explorer II students begin to enjoy the exploration of learning and the reward that it brings, while developing into pre-school ready children!
